TREATMENT OPTIONS

At Caring Services Inc. we tailor a combination of group and individual sessions to meet the participants needs. This allows participants to engage in treatment and remain involved in their home and work life.

Outpatient Treatment

Transitional housing places program participants in a supportive living environment while they complete a treatment program and work to secure independent housing.

Transitional Housing

The Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program at Caring Services consists of structured group sessions and individual sessions that are designed to teach participants early recovery and relapse prevention skills.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Caring Services works with the Veterans Administration to provide a housing and treatment program for homeless veterans designed to help veterans access benefits, healthcare, substance use disorder treatment, and secure permanent housing.

At Caring Services Inc. we want to be sure that we are the appropriate place to facilitate each persons individual treatment. To ensure this fit, every person seeking treatment at our agency will go through a screening process before they are scheduled for an assessment and entry into the program.

VETERAN SERVICES

Caring Services works with the Veterans Administration to provide a housing and treatment program for homeless veterans. The housing component of this program is called the Vet Safety Net and is an up to two year program that is designed to help veterans access benefits, healthcare, substance use disorder treatment, and secure permanent housing.

The Veterans Safety Net program is a veteran-specific transitional housing program. This program provides a structured, therapeutic living environment for male veterans who are experiencing homelessness and are diagnosed with a substance use disorder.

QUALIFYING FOR VETERAN SERVICES

To participate, the veteran must meet the following criteria:

Qualify for enrollment in the Veterans Administration's Health Care for Homeless Veterans Program
Have completed 180 days of active duty service
Have received an honorable or general under honorable conditions discharge
A primary diagnosis of a substance use disorder
Experiencing homelessness

Veterans participating in the Vet Safety Net have access to the Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Treatment programs offered by Caring Services. They will also work with a veterans-specific case manager to set goals that will help secure permanent housing once they complete the Vet Safety Net. The Case Manager works diligently with each veteran to make sure they are connected with the Veterans Administration and receiving all services and benefits they qualify for.
